Privacy Policy
This page explains what information VitalityScribe collects when you visit, why we collect it, who receives it and what you can do about it.
Effective and last updated: September 25, 2026
Who runs this site
VitalityScribe (vitalityscribe.com) is an independent health information site that reviews dietary supplements. It is run by an independent publisher, not by a supplement company, clinic or medical provider.
For any question about this policy or about data related to your visit, write to contact@vitalityscribe.com.
What we collect
You don't need an account to read VitalityScribe, and there is no contact form, newsletter or comment section. You can read every page without typing anything about yourself. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and we use it only to reply.
When you load a page, the following is collected automatically:
- Technical data from your browser: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen size, language and the page you came from.
- How you use the page: which pages you open, how long you stay, how far you scroll and which links you click.
- Advertising parameters: if you arrived through an ad, the identifiers the ad platform adds to the link, so we can tell which ad brought you here.
What we never collect
We do not collect health information about you. Nothing on this site asks about your symptoms, weight, diagnosis, medication or medical history. Reading a review about a gut health supplement tells our analytics that a page was viewed; it does not tell anyone anything about your health.
We also never collect payment information. If you buy a product through a link on this site, the purchase happens entirely on the seller's own checkout. We never see your card details, name or address.
Why we collect it
- To understand what readers find useful, so we can improve our pages.
- To measure our advertising. VitalityScribe runs paid ads, and measuring which ads bring readers who find a page useful is how we avoid wasting money on the ones that don't.
- To keep the site working, by spotting errors and slow pages.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it or share it with data brokers.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar browser storage for the measurement described above. The services involved are:
- Flow Tracking (flowtrackingtool.com): an analytics and ad-attribution tool. It records page views, clicks and the advertising parameters described above, and connects a visit to the ad that produced it.
- Seller and affiliate platforms, such as BuyGoods: when you click a link to a product's official store, the seller or its payment platform may set its own cookie to record that the visit came from VitalityScribe. That cookie is set on the seller's website, under the seller's privacy policy, not ours.
- Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google's servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google as part of that request.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting.
How to refuse cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its privacy settings. Blocking them will not break this site. You can also use a private or incognito window, which clears its storage when you close it, or turn on your browser's tracking protection.
Affiliate links and advertising
VitalityScribe earns money through affiliate commissions. Some links on our reviews go to a product's official store and are affiliate links: if you click one and buy, the seller may pay us a commission, and you pay the same price you would otherwise. Every review says this before the first link to a store. More on this is on our About page.
We also advertise on third-party platforms, including Google Ads. Those platforms may use their own cookies to measure their ads. You can control how Google personalizes ads for you at My Ad Center, and opt out of many other advertising cookies at optout.aboutads.info.
Who receives your data
Only the service providers listed above. They process data to provide their services to us, under their own privacy policies. We would also disclose information if required by law, a court order or a valid request from a public authority.
How long we keep it
Analytics and ad-attribution data is kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the conversation.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how it is used. If you live in California or another U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, this includes the right to know what is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. As stated above, we do not sell personal information. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the rights given by the GDPR.
To make a request, email contact@vitalityscribe.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask for details that help us find the records involved, such as the approximate date of your visit.
Children
VitalityScribe is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and our server is encrypted. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep very little information about you in the first place.
Changes to this policy
If we add a service that collects something new, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Checking that date is the quickest way to see whether anything has changed.
A reminder
VitalityScribe is an information site, not a medical service. Nothing published here is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider about your own health.
